Creamy Chickpeas - Red Lentils Spread with a Hint of Spice

Ingredients

150 g cooked chickpeas.
150 g cooked red lentils.
1 triangle of soft cheese (approximately 30 g).
5 ml water from cooking the red lentils.
A small bunch of fresh parsley, chopped (approximately 10 g).
1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala.
Salt and black pepper to taste.

2 wholegrain baguette or buns ( 2x80 g)

cherry tomatoes about 100 g ( 5 pcs)

Preparation

  1. Blend the cooked chickpeas and red lentils with a hand blender or in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Add the soft cheese, lentil cooking water, chopped parsley, and Garam Masala.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly to combine the ingredients and achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.

Put ready SPREAD on whole grain bun or kaiser or baguette.

Add on the plate cherry tomatoes, cucumber and sprinkle spread with dill, red onion, chive or parsley and you can enjoy really tasteful breakfast or dinner or snack.
