CARROT SALAD and its variants

Recipe for carrot salad.

Ingredients per 4 portions

4 carrots (400 g)  (141 kcal)

2 apples (2 x 150 g) ( 220 kcal)

juice from 1 lemon 

100 g pineapple compote  (87 kcal)

1 tablespoon of sugar (10 g) (40 kcal)

1 tablespoon of honey (25 g) (optional ) ( 83 kcal)

1 tablespoon of olive oil (10 ml)   (80 kcal)

Preparation

1. We shred carrots and apples

2. We add 100 g of pineapple compote and a little of sauce. 

3. Then we add sauce from 1 pcs of lemon

4. And finally we add  1 table spoon of sugar (white or brown) 

5. optionally we add 1 tablespoon of honey 

6. optionally we add 1 tablespoon of olive oil (add calories and polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are healthy , but taste of the salads changes)

We mix everything together, it is better to leave it 2 hours standing as sugar, honey create additional juice from the carrot and apples, and this taste is realy delicious.💖

Enjoy it. This salad , I remember from my childhood and it is is really suitable when you are preparing roasted chicken. Combination of meat and juicy carrot apple salad is really delicious, believe me.
